The seaside resort of Woolacombe is within walking distance of the property and boasts a wonderful three-mile wide sandy beach, perfect for families, and also popular with surfers. Those who want to try their hand at surfing and other sea-based water sports can take a lesson at the Woolacombe Surf Centre.
There are a range of eateries in the village, as well as a number of shops. Further afield, there are a number of other attractive beaches close by, including those at Croyde and Saunton Sands, as well as the popular harbour town of Ilfracombe, which is just six miles away. Within a few minutes you are onto the many popular cycle routes in North Devon as well as Lee Woods and Spreacombe Woods which are great for Mountain Biking.
