Located in the pretty village of Woolacombe and Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty, this property is within easy reach of the village’s host of pubs, cafes and shops, plus its award-winning Blue Flag sandy beach. Once you have finished exploring Woolacombe, venture a little further along the coastline to find Croyde and Saunton, both popular destinations for keen surfers. Enjoy long strolls along the South West Coast Path, which offers spectacular sea views and access to secluded beaches and coves. Further inland, Exmoor National Park boasts breath-taking scenery while historic Barnstaple’s market and shops are well worth a visit.
Inside, the ground floor accommodation is spacious and open-plan, featuring wooden flooring, spotlights and French doors out to the garden. The contemporary kitchen area contains an electric oven with gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and Nespresso Pod coffee machine. Once you have finished preparing your meals, dine at the table and chairs in a cosy corner of this room, before relaxing on the comfortable L-shaped sofa that overlooks the garden through the French windows. After a long day exploring the local area, unwind with a good book or in front of the Smart TV. There is a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find one king-size bedroom and one twin with TV/DVD.
The bedrooms enjoy plenty of natural light and have been tastefully decorated in a nautical theme. A contemporary fully-tiled bathroom with shower over bath and WC is also located on the first floor. Step outside through the French doors and onto the enclosed decked patio. With garden furniture and pretty potted plants, this is a peaceful sun-trap in which to enjoy an al fresco meal. There is also a handy lockable cupboard in the front porch for storing surfboards and other beach equipment.
