On the southern edge of the Broads National Park, this bungalow is an appealing escape that would suit anyone who prefers one-level living, whether families or friends holidaying together. The property is situated just outside the small village of Rollesby, at the southern end of the Norfolk Broads. Rollesby Broad, linked to Filby and Ormesby Broad, is an ideal place for fishing and sailing as motor boats are not permitted. This part of the county is flat and perfect for walking, birdwatching and cycling, and the east coast beaches are long stretches of sand that are often quiet, even in summer. Winterton-on-Sea (6.5 miles), for example, has a stunning, unspoilt beach, while at Horsey Gap (7.5 miles) you can view the local grey seal colony in winter. Vintage car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Caister Castle Car Collection, 4.5 miles away.

Off the beaten track but only a few miles from shops, pubs and attractions, this rural retreat has been thoughtfully put together to create a relaxing escape at any time of the year. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open plan, forming a social space for gathering, cooking, eating and relaxing, with everything you need readily available. There are two bedrooms, each with the benefit of its own en-suite bathroom. The king-size room has its own roll top bath and WC, while the Super king zip and link has a wet room with a walk-in shower and WC.

The courtyard space outside is a real suntrap, and has garden furniture so that you can enjoy al fresco meals in the fresh Norfolk air. There is also a lawned area, shared with the two other properties on the site, that is perfect for exercising a dog.
