Spacious Brixham pet friendly holiday cottage sleeping 8 guests close to the quay and harbour in one direction and Battery Gardens and Fishcombe Cove in the other, so for families or groups of friends it’s the perfect place for a holiday!

Set over three floors, this cottge pairs contemporary coast-inspired décor with original period features like an Arts and Crafts fireplace and decorative tiles, stripped wood flooring, dipped oak doors and ceiling roses with chandeliers. On the ground floor there’s a gorgeous living room with big bay windows and a spacious, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar and seating. A large separate dining room with chunky wood table and seating flows through to the sun room where guests can relax with a cup of coffee and a good book, while the furnished garden to the back of the property is a wonderful place for barbecues and fresh air entertaining. Bright and airy throughout, blue hues on the walls nod to the tones of the surrounding sea, and tasteful furniture pieces, ornaments and artwork add interest and character to each room.

Upstairs on the first floor is the family bathroom and a cloak room, as well as two lovely bedrooms, a light and spacious double and fabulous king. Both are light-filled and beautifully styled, with big beds, superior mattresses and sumptuous soft furnishings, with the king featuring two elegant armchairs as well as a massive bay window. A further two bedrooms can be found on the top floor (which is accessed up a narrow flight of stairs) and these comprise a roomy twin and a second king which has distant sea views.

Security Deposit: We ask our guests for a £200 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved (held as a pending transaction) and then released afterwards if there is no damage or additional cleaning. This will be held on the card on file 7 days prior to your arrival.
Pets: 1 pet allowed, £25 per week, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the upstairs/bedroom areas

Linen & Towels: Bed linen is provided for your stay, however, if you require use of the travel cot you will need to bring your own cot linen. Each guest will be supplied with one hand towel and one bath towel for their stay.
Wi-Fi: This property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, however, we cannot guarantee the speed and connectivity. Therefore, if you are planning to work during your holiday, we recommend bringing a Wi-Fi dongle.
Coffee Machine: Lavazza coffee machine which requires eco pods (pods need to be ordered online)
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking and we ask that any party member who smokes, do so off the premises.
Property surroundings: The two top floor bedrooms are accessed via a narrow steep staircase, as a result, they may not be suitable for small children or those with mobility issues
Decorated for Christmas: A large Christmas tree and a few additional ornaments in the sitting room, with fairy lights and table decorations in the dining room. There will be a small Christmas tree in the kitchen and also in the conservatory.

Located on ground floor, the modern kitchen has garden views and comes equipped with a gas oven, gas ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine which requires eco pods (pods need to be ordered online), cafetiere, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner
A range of cooking utensils, pots, pans, glasses, crockery and cutlery are provided

Dining Room
A bright and airy room with royal blue alcoves and an ornamental fireplace with large mantle mirror. The room features a large oak dining table, bench and chairs and has a Bluetooth speaker as well as access to the sunroom

Sun room
Just off the dining room, this delightful room is furnished with wicker chairs, an outdoor rug and mirror. It has direct access out to the garden and makes a wonderful space for catching up on your holiday reading or for enjoying a cup of coffee in the sun

Bedrooms
Master Bedroom
Positioned on first floor this beautiful bedroom feels fresh and bright and has a large king size bed, two armchairs and big bay windows. The room’s doors have been dipped to reveal their original condition which adds authenticity and charm to the space

Bedroom Two
Also located on first floor, this bright and airy bedroom is furnished with a double bed, side tables with lamps, a dressing table, mirror and built-in wardrobe

* Please note that the top floor bedrooms are accessed via a steep, narrow staircase so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues

Bedroom Three
Located on the second floor this light-filled bedroom has two big windows with sea views over the rooftops. It is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, mirror, modern desk, chest of drawers, wall mounted hanging rail and a cobalt blue velvet armchair with matching footstool.

Bedroom Four
Located on second floor, this bedroom is also beautifully light and bright with large twin beds that have under-bed storage. Furnished with a bedside lamp and chest of drawers as well as a shelving unit with storage baskets and wall-mounted hooks for hanging space

Bathrooms
Family Bathroom
Located on first floor, the spacious family bathroom is clean and bright with a feature stone wall and ladder storage for towels, toiletries and personal belongings. It has a bath with shower over, hand basin, mirror and WC as well as hooks for hanging towels, and a hairdryer

Bathroom Two
Next to the main bathroom is a separate cloakroom with WC, mirror and hand basin

Outside
The garden to the back of the house is fully enclosed and features a raised decking area with large wooden dining table which can seat eight and a parasol. The garden has been landscaped with gravel and plant beds and features a further raised gravel area with deck chairs and a charcoal BBQ

Parking
Private off-road parking for one car to the rear of the property. Please note that the lane access via Holborn Road is quite narrow although will fit a large car (4×4). For additional parking, there is some on road parking just outside the front door however this is on a first come first served basis, as is the parking on the surrounding Holborn Road and Alma Road.
