On the ground floor, the gorgeous kitchen is well kitted-out for home cooking, and the dining area within the space is where guests can spend time sharing meals, playing board games or chatting about the day’s plans.

The Downalong, with its maze of narrow cobblestone streets, granite cottages, and whitewashed stone buildings, serves as the historic fisherman’s quarter of the town, and this lovely cottage’s setting just 150 metres from Porthmeor Beach, the harbour and Porthgwidden, means you can be on the sand within a couple of minutes after stepping out the front door.

This room lies at the top of the staircase with no door, however there is a door at the bottom of the staircase so the room can be closed off if need be
