The open-plan living area is presented in a stylish manner, sweeping across a charcoal grey, slate floor to form an L-shape. Get cosy on the large, plush sofa in front of the wood burner on a cold wintry night and make the most of the fully-fitted kitchen. A colourful rug and coordinating cushions brighten up the contemporary grey and white setup.

Use the dining space for home cooked meals and getting together for late-night chats over a family board game. With patio doors leading from the dining room into the garden, you get the feeling of bringing the outside in. And on a clear day you can even admire views out towards the Isles of Scilly. Upstairs, a collection of thoughtfully decorated bedrooms are accompanied by a gleaming white bathroom, for a home-from-home feel. One double room even boasts its own en-suite! If you can tear yourself away from this cosy retreat, discover the delights of Pendeen and its handful of pubs and shops.

Pay a visit to the lighthouse and catch glimpses of the sea, stretching out for miles and disappearing beyond the horizon. Step back into the 18th century Poldark times by exploring the rugged coastline and dramatic moorland, before heading out for an afternoon of shopping in Penzance. St. Ives offers a beautiful harbour, quality gift shops full of trinkets and a thriving community of artists. The open-air Minack Theatre overlooking the beach at Porthcurno is definitely worth a look, as well as visiting the many filming locations of the BBC’s Poldark. The perfect base for making some memories.
