Close by, the pedestrianised town centre features fine Victorian and Edwardian architecture and shops to suit all tastes. Follow the South West Coast Path to the pretty village of Beer, less than 2 miles away, or drive 7.5 miles to Axminster, famous worldwide for its carpet industry and a beautiful market town with a thriving creative community.
