Two bedroom beachside apartment overlooking Saunton Sands beach in Devon, perfect for couples or a small family, right on the seafront, private balcony and parking space.

This beachside apartment is perfect for a couple’s bolthole, a small family or a small group of friends holidaying together. With its location right on the seafront, it is ideal for spending long, lazy days at the beach. Guests can stroll along the sands, sunbathe or play in the waves. This is a popular beach with beginner surfers, so the waves are generally quite gentle. It is also very family-friendly and with a 3-mile swathe of soft, golden sands, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy it. Walkers can pick up the stunning South West Coastal Path here and golfing enthusiasts can hit the Saunton Golf Club with its 36-hole championship course. The village itself is 2 miles inland and has a sprinkling of shops and pubs, as well as backing onto the dunes of Braunton Burrows, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The slightly larger village of Braunton is a mile further on offering a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, plus access to the Tarka Trail cycle path. There are many more beautiful beaches within easy reach, such as Croyde Bay 6 miles away and Woolacombe Beach 8 miles away.

Access to the building is via a secure gated entrance and then there is level access to the apartment from the lobby. Once inside the living area is arranged in an open-plan format with the kitchen at the back then a small dining area and a comfortable lounge with French doors leading out onto a private balcony. The views out across the beach and the ocean are mesmerising and the whole place is flooded with naural light. The bedrooms are arranged towards the rear of the property with a spacious master bedroom containing a king-size bed and a TV, and a twin room also with a TV. The large bathroom is shared between the two rooms with a separate shower cubicle and bath. Underfloor heating in several of the rooms is powered by an eco-friendly ground source heat pump. The whole apartment has been very well designed with a high-end finish throughout.

The star of the show has to be the large private balcony accessed via the French doors in the lounge. This is the place to soak up the fresh Devon sea air and bask with the sun on your face. Be that with a morning yoga practice, a cuppa or a sundowner or two. The grounds and gardens around the apartment block are shared with the other residents. There is also a shared secure outside storage area for your surfboards and bicycles, as well as an external shower for sandy beachgoers to rinse off.
