Budget pet friendly three bedroom cottage in Northumberland near Berwick upon Tweed ideal for coastal holidays for families or friends, close to numerous sandy beaches and local attractions.

Located on the south bank of the River Tweed, this pretty village has a babbling brook and village green and lies just two miles from the centre of Berwick upon Tweed, the famous and historic border town. Take in views of the estuary, viaducts and bridges and the sea beyond. Enjoy dolphin spotting, river boat trips, salmon fishing, golf and even racecourses along with coastal walks with panoramic views.

Berwick offers a great range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants and a choice of five beaches to head for. Visit Bamburgh and Alnwick for magnificent Castles and the Alnwick Gardens is a must or cross to Holy Island or take a boat trip from Seahouses to see wildlife on the Farne Islands.

Enter this delightful cottage through the garden gate at the front of the property and you will find a bright and welcoming lounge on your left with a cosy wood burner, there is comfortable seating to relax on and a Smart TV for your entertainment. A step up into a light hallway takes you to the kitchen overlooking the rear courtyard patio. You have everything you need to prepare your meals with an electric oven and gas hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher.

There is also a utility room with a washing machine and the bathroom is also off the hall with a shower over bath and WC. There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor with a view of the courtyard and upstairs are two further bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double bed and is bright and airy with a view over the front garden and a feature fireplace. Like all the bedrooms, the pretty single bedroom is decorated in cool and calming tones and has a view over the front garden.

Outside there is an enclosed courtyard patio area to the rear which you access from the hallway with seating so you can enjoy the sun and to the front is an enclosed, lawned garden. Parking is on-street for one car with alternative street parking 50 metres from the gate.
