Set just a short walk away from the pretty village of Fowey in Cornwall, The Shippen is a traditional Cornish holiday cottage with lovely countryside views.

Sympathetically renovated, this detached barn conversion combines period charm and character with modern day conveniences and has been finished to a very high standard.

An open plan living area includes a cosy lounge with comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV and fire, traditional dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave and much more. There are two well presented bedrooms, one double and one twin (accessed via the double) and a family bathroom.

There is a small private garden (not secure) at the front of the cottage. The Shippen is also one of a small set of barns in two and half acres of landscaped gardens that are shared with other holiday cottages and includes a children’s playground and a BBQ area.

It is only a 10 minute gentle stroll to the beach at Readymoney Cove and a short walk to the coastal village of Fowey, with its restaurants, pubs and cafes. There are a number of local family attractions nearby including The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Monkey Sanctuary and The Eden Project.
