To the west lies the delightful towns of Charlestown (1 mile) and Mevagissey (8 miles), each possessing their own individual charm, whilst to the east is the picture-postcard harbour town of Fowey (7 miles). Charlestown has retained its authentic Cornish allure with its historic tall ships in the harbour. The local Crinnis Beach (0.5 miles) is great for swimming and snorkelling and comes alive from Easter to October, featuring live music on weekends and a diverse range of pop-up food and drink stalls. Water sports equipment is also available to hire. A short drive (8 miles) takes you to the stunning Lost Gardens of Heligan, or a little closer is The Eden Project (3 miles) with its famous biomes to explore.

The shower room with a corner shower is also on the first floor and is only accessible from the double bedroom.
