Budget pet friendly cottage sleeping 8 in Cornwall near Crantock, just a ten minute walk down the hill to a sandy beach and the River Gannel Estuary. A spacious and comfortable detached family house ideal for coastal breaks. Set to one side of the road that leads down to the village square and beach car park, the property is entered through a gated driveway where there is space for three cars.

The village has a church, small shops, tea gardens and two pubs which offer food, all within a five minute walk and the lovely wide sandy beach backed by dunes is a further five minute walk.

The holiday resort of Newquay, 3 miles by road, has a good selection of shops, a rail and coach station and many attractions including the Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. There are also lovely coastal walks in the immediate area. The National Trust Trerice Manor and the seaside town of Perranporth, are a 15 minute drive respectively and the cathedral city of Truro is within half an hour by car.

Entrance

The front door opens into a small hallway.

Living Room

Warm and inviting sitting room with television and ample seating for eight people arranged before the fireplace with an electric flicker flame fire and sliding patio doors that lead out to the rear garden.

Dining Room

On the opposite side of the hall is a very pleasant dining room with television.

Bedroom 1 & En-suite

A ground floor cosy double bedroom with dressing area and one step up to a tiny en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.

Kitchen & Utility

At the rear of the property, a fully fitted galley kitchen can be reached both from the dining room and the sitting room, with a door to the garden and the adjacent utility room (accessed externally) with laundry facilities (no sink). Appliances to the kitchen include dishwasher, fridge/freezer, additional fridge, electric hob, oven and microwave. To the utility room is a washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

Bathroom

Upstairs are a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and large shower cubicle.

Bedroom 2

Double bedroom with 5ft double, built in wardrobes and vanity basin.

Bedroom 3

Spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed, built in wardrobe and Vanity basin.

Bedroom 4

Twin room with two single beds, built in wardrobe and vanity basin.

Heating

This property is heated via central heating.

Outside
The rear garden has a lower patio and half a dozen steps leading up to a raised lawn, young children will require supervision as there are unguarded drops. The garden becomes enclosed when the driveway gate is closed.

A lockable garage is available for the storage of bikes, beach-gear and surfboards with a heated changing room for beach-goers at the rear.

Barbecue and garden furniture provided.
