Brixham three bedroom former-fisherman’s cottage updated to create a stylish holiday home for six guests with wonderful harbour views, pets welcome and parking included.

Enjoying a wonderful south-facing location, the cottage boasts uninterrupted panoramic views of the sea, harbour, marina and old town from all four levels. The spacious property has been modernised to a high standard and is very well appointed, retaining many original features such as wooden sash windows and floorboards. Step through the ground-floor entrance which leads into an open-plan lounge where you’ll find comfortable sofas and magnificent views.

There is also a 40-inch Sony LED TV, with HD satellite and a Blu-ray player, perfect for an evening of entertainment. Take the steps downstairs to the lower ground floor where you’ll find the fully appointed kitchen with an electric cooker incorporating a halogen hob, a family sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Gather everyone together around the large dining area on this floor, with a table and six chairs positioned to make the most of the harbour views.

On warmer days, step from the dining area onto the private south-facing sun deck and take in the constantly changing vista of harbour life unfolding around you. Heading back upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bedroom that can be arranged as a twin upon request. Climbing another flight of stairs up to the first floor will take you to another bedroom with a super-king-size bed and beautiful harbour views; indulge in a coffee in bed in the morning and take in the coastal vista. Also on this floor is a large family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Up the winding Victorian staircase, on the second and final floor, you’ll find the double-aspect penthouse master bedroom which is the perfect romantic bolthole. It’s equipped with a super-king-size bed and a luxury en-suite shower room, and also boasts those wonderful panoramic harbour views.

Outside, the terrace (located off the dining room on the ground floor) is a fantastic outdoor space and offers unobscured views over the town’s harbour from its table and chairs, making it the perfect spot for al fresco drinks or dining. Guests have use of a private parking space found a short walk from the property.
