You could visit the fairground (0.5 miles), SEALife centre (1.5 miles) and a working harbour where you can watch the boats come in and out or embark on a boat trip of your own (0.5 miles). The town itself makes up part of the broader Dorset Heritage Coast and the magnificent Jurassic Coast, a site of geological interest with breathtaking scenery. The South West Coast Path provides excellent walking or cycling routes – the perfect way to enjoy the spectacular clifftop sights.

This light and bright one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a lovingly renovated period property. Enter via a communal hallway and ascend a small flight of stairs up to the accommodation. The sociable hub of the apartment is its open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and lounge space. This room benefits from floor-to-ceiling sash windows which look out across the beach and sea. A dining table is conveniently situated here, so you can watch the world go by as you eat. The colourful corner kitchen is sleek and well-equipped. As night falls, this room becomes a cosy hub with sofas positioned around a TV and DVD player to create a comfortable spot to curl up and relax. The larger of the two sofas doubles up as a sofa bed. The actual bedroom is a calm and relaxing space. It is a king-size with a zip-and-link bed, meaning it can be made up as a twin on request at the time of booking. There is a TV in here for lazy mornings of breakfast in bed. Finally, the apartment features a light-filled, spacious family bathroom, where you can choose from a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower.

This apartment doesn’t have its own garden, however, a sandy beach can be found less than 200 metres from your doorstep.
