A stylish retreat from which to explore Aldeburgh and the beautiful Suffolk coast, this terraced cottage is less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and High Street and provides all the comforts of a home-from-home.

Number 22 is a cosy and spacious, light and airy terraced character cottage, ideal for year-round holidays and short breaks. Thoughtfully decorated and equipped throughout, it features an open-plan living and dining area which leads into a modern kitchen and onto a pretty, sunny courtyard garden. The stylish master bedroom benefits from the morning sun and is spacious and airy, whilst the second double bedroom has views over the rear garden. Off this bedroom is a smaller bunk room, perfect for children.

In the warmer summer months, enjoy dining al fresco and cook up a treat on the brick-built barbecue stand (for disposable barbecues). With the sun in the garden through the afternoon and evening, it’s a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the local area.

There is no designated parking at the cottage, however there is free parking in front of the cottage on the road.

Ground Floor:
Sitting room
Entrance into the sitting room which has two large sofas, a wood burning stove and a large television.
Dining area
The dining area has a table seating six and a further sofa and dresser. The stairs lead out of the dining room to the first floor.
Kitchen
There is a step down from the living area into the kitchen which has fitted units with integral dishwasher, washing machine and full height larder fridge and freezer. There is an electric oven with a four gas burner hob and extractor fan.
Bathroom
Bath with fixed and handheld shower head, wash basin, WC, full-height heated towel rail and storage cabinet with mirror.

First Floor:
Master bedroom
Situated at the front of the cottage this light and bright room features a king-size bed. The room has a built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom two
With views over the rear courtyard garden, this room has a double bed, chest of drawers and space to hang clothes.
Bedroom three
Accessed through the double room, this children’s room has 3′ bunk beds, a desk and space to hang clothes.

Outside:
There is a small terrace at the front of the cottage with a metal bench which gets the morning sun. At the rear of the cottage there is a fully-enclosed south west facing courtyard garden which has a brick-built barbecue stand (for disposable BBQs) and seating. Please note that there is access along the back of the terrace to neighbouring properties but the courtyard garden is fully-enclosed and private. There is a gate on the pathway from the rear of the property to ensure pets don’t wander off.

Additional Information
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but they must remain on the ground floor (small additional charge).
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Permanent stair gate at the foot of the stairs.
