Veryan Cottage | Sleeps 8
Close to Veryan and at the end of the lane, this is a strong, typically Cornish 17th cent. farmhouse: a splendid family house in an excellent situation.... |
Veryan is a classic whitewashed village that is snuck into the nook of protective cliffs in a magical corner of the Roseland Peninsular. It is perhaps one of the most historic fishing villages in Cornwall and possesses fine examples of traditional thatched cottages, which add to its abundant Cornish charm, in particular a group of five 'Round houses' that attract a lot of attention. But while this is a very traditional and un-spoilt village, it still offers visitors loads of activities, including indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a pavilion, a playground and a fabulous pub and Inn. Veryan is perfectly situated to enjoy a good number of brilliant beaches, such as the shores of Portholland beach, Carne beach, Pendower beach and the sandy beach at St Mawes.
For more action there’s always Mevagissey and Falmouth which are a just a short ferry-ride away. The self-catering Veryan cottages to rent listed here include child friendly holiday cottages that sleep from 4 to 6 people, many that are just a short walk to the nearest family friendly beach. If you are travelling with pets the Veryan pet friendly cottages should work, with some sleeping up to 8 making them ideal for group accommodation. Cottage bookings are made direct with the owner or property manager online.
