Treknow Seaside Accommodation

Treknow is a lovely little hamlet that can be found along the rugged coast of North Cornwall north of Newquay and south of Bude, just a mile south of Tintagel. It is made-up of a cluster of traditional cottages, most of which overlook the ocean and surrounding green fields. This is a very rural area so there aren’t many amenities but between the neighbouring towns of Tintagel and Camelford there are more than enough cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants plus a leisure centre and golf course to keep you occupied.

The local beach of Trebarwith Strand is lovely and sandy and quite popular amongst surfers and families and can be reached by foot or by car. This is a great beach with relatively safe bathing, ample surf and loads of caves and crevasses to explore. There is a beach shop, cafe and Inn with great views and there are excellent facilities, including easy parking and toilets.
