St Merryn is an historic little village that lies on the west coast of Cornwall, between Constantine Bay and the Camel Estuary. It encompasses over five miles of some of Cornwall's most scenic shores and is within easy access of no less than seven exquisite beaches with sheltering cliffs or dunes, golden sand and good quality waves. They include the bays of Trevone and Constantine and none are further than three and a half miles away. The closest beach is officially Harlyn Bay, a mile away and totally family friendly with decent surfing conditions. Then there are the breathtaking coastal paths that cross and curve along the headland that allow visitors to admire abundant wildlife and seascapes, there are plenty of viewpoints and benches to fully appreciate this coast's natural spectacle. In terms of entertainment, St Merryn offers quite a lot over the summer months including a summer funfair, a rally, a carnival, local auctions and a golf course. There is also a good choice of pubs, restaurants and inns. The self-catering St Merryn cottages listed here are child and family friendly, with many also pet friendly for the dog lovers out there.
