Rock is a classy coastal town that nestles in the protection of the estuary of the River Camel, just north of Padstow in North Cornwall. The town attracts a refined crowd that is allured by long stretches of powdery sand, spectacular views and sunsets, a wide range of water sports and five star cuisine and accommodation. This exclusive holiday resort has been crowned as the 'Saint Tropez' of England due to its calibre of holiday maker whom have been known to arrive at the local helipad.
That said, everyday folk mingle in nicely and there is a daily flow of happy holiday makers visiting Rock's stylish shores, restaurants and boutiques via the Black Tor ferry which crosses the Camel from Padstow. There is even a water taxi for those who choose to indulge in the glitzy nightlife. When it comes to some action there is a great beach nearby at Daymer Bay and not too far away is the St Enodoc golf course, a good quality course for enthusiastic golfers.
Surfers are taken care of thanks to the nearby Polzeath beach and keen walkers will be amazed at the abundance of wildlife to be spotted whilst out on a stroll.
