Portwrinkle is a quiet and historic fishing village with beautiful views over the west side of Whitsand Bay in South East Cornwall. For hundreds of years it was famous for its role in fishing and storing pilchards and still today its picturesque harbour houses pilchard cellars serving as a reminder of its history. This is a very pretty, rural location and totally un-spoilt so there is little more than a cafe and a small car park to be found near the beach but as it sits between Saltdash and Looe you are never too far from its busier neighbours.
