Penmaenmawr Seaside Accommodation

Penmaenmawr is an old fishing and quarry village that nestles between the Snowdonia Mountains and the Minai Strait coastline, very close to the historical town of Conwy in North Wales. It is filled with traditional Welsh cottages, a few nice shops and pubs and it also has a museum and a golf course. Nearby there is also a gorgeous sandy beach, which has a nice promenade, a paddling pond, playground and colourful beach huts.

There are many more beaches in either direction along the coastline from Penmaenmawr, as well as some great historic sites around Conwy and the island of Anglesey. Up in the hills there are various ancient sites including Roman roads, an Iron Age fort, Druid Circle and a Stone Age axe workshop.
