New Romney Seaside Accommodation

New Romney is a delightful old port town that has been removed from the original water’s edge over time due to the Rother Estuary silting-up. The bright side to this story is that this has created the beautiful Romney Marsh, a natural wild life habitat filled with all kinds of interesting creatures and sea birds. New Romney has retained most of its original character with plenty of architectural gems to visit and some very cool public art. The historic high street is pretty and offers a top-notch set of shops, a supermarket and some cafes and pubs. Not far away is the popular seaside resort of Camber Sands with it’s dog friendly beach and chic beach houses lining the shore.

The local train station attracts quite a few visitors and there is an impressive golf course only a kilometre away that has had a few famous figures amongst its guest list and has even hosted an Open Championship. The nearest recommended beach is Greatstone.
