Kingsdown Coastal Holiday Homes by the Beach
Kingsdown lies just south of Walmer, at the end of the White Cliffs of Dover and nestles here the chalk cliffs in a kind of elevated valley behind the beach. This shore is made up of shingle and sand and it stretches all the way to Deal and is well renowned amongst bird watchers, as are the nearby downs. There are some lovely coastal footpaths and cycling routes that offer cliff top sea views as well as the opportunity to spot some impressive migrating birds. The village itself is made-up of classic fisherman’s cottages and an old quarter that enjoys great views thanks to its elevated position on the cliffs.
