Heacham is a lovely traditional beach resort that sits by The Wash in the North of Norfolk. Heacham is surrounded by natural beauty, both in the form of its incredible coastline and the famous, romantic lavender and poppy plants that cover the local fields. The shores at Heacham come in two pleasant stretches of sand and pebbles known as Heacham South and Heacham North and are home to some of the best beachfront cottages in East Anglia.

The South side is more natural with plentiful sand dunes and greenery, while the North beach boasts a promenade with great beach facilities. The main beach is blessed with unique Eastern sunsets, thanks to its west facing aspect. It is great to be able to chop and change between the beaches during your stay, as they are conveniently linked and offer such different experiences. Also to the South of the beach lies the impressive nature reserve of Snettisham.
