Church Bay is an historic little fishing hamlet found on top of the cliffs on the West coast of Anglesey in North Wales. Fishermen here used to catch whitebait and there are still little thatched cottages around the place that once belonged to these sturdy Welsh seafarers. This is a rural spot with limited facilities, but neighbouring towns offer plenty of supermarkets to stock up your fridge and there are enough establishments here where you can nosh-up, or enjoy a pint without the need for shops. There are also a number of restaurants serving very fine seafood, including lobster caught and served fresh daily.
There is a fab beach cafe and a grand old Inn with spectacular sea views and there is also an award winning pebble beach that is very picturesque and well protected by some beautiful rocky cliffs. These cliffs and rocks create perfect enclaves, rock pools and rocks to perch-on, all making for a perfect family day on the beach.
