Bempton lies on the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast in Yorkshire and is most famous for its spectacular Bempton Cliffs, a nature reserve and breeding ground for a colossal colony of seabirds including Gannets, Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots, Kittiwakes and many more. This is a wonderful place to marvel at nature as adults bring food to their chicks, which often take their first flight before your very eyes. The village itself is rural but has all you could need for a relaxing stay. To the South lies Bridlington, a well-known seaside resort and the location of the nearest beach, Danes Dyke beach is a beautiful curve of sand and pebbles at the foot of some majestic cliffs where you can witness the dipping and diving of seabirds. There is also the elegant resort of Filey just a short drive north where there are more gorgeous beaches.
