Beaumaris Cottages by the Sea & Beach

Beaumaris can be found on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales close to Benllech and is home to the famous Beaumaris Castle as well as plenty of sandy beaches, award winning pubs and festivals to enjoy. Beaumaris was originally a Viking settlement, but following the conquering of Wales by Edward I (Hammer of the Scots) in 1295 the building of Beaumaris Castle commenced which formed a line of fortifications along the coast of North Wales, along with other forts in Harlech, Conwy and Caernarfon.
