Abercastle Seaside Accommodation

Abercastle is an historic old trading port in West Wales that has become a sleepy resort, hidden in a lovely valley on the north coast of the St David’s Peninsula in Pembrokeshire. It is made-up of pretty cottages but there are very few amenities nearby. There is however a working harbour that is mostly used for leisure boats and next to this there is a lovely sand and shingle beach, which is perfectly sheltered within an inlet so ideal for young bathers and those who love kayaking. For those who want something more secluded, there is another beach half a kilometre away down the southern coastal path that is totally idyllic.

Close to Abercastle are some prehistoric sites – a Neolithic burial chamber called The Dolmen with views across Pembrokeshire and the remains of Castell Coch, an Iron-age fort.
