Just a short walk from the centre of Bude, Summerleaze Beach on the North Cornish Coast is a unique stretch of sandy beach flanked by a river, sheltered by a breakwater and boasting a saltwater sea pool that is cleaned daily by the tide. You can rent your very own beach hut, visit the RNLI shop or visit the beach café and there is a large car park behind the sand dunes with disabled access.
The beach is a hit with families with children and popular with novice surfers and can get quite crowded in the height of summer. There is Lifeguard cover during Easter and then from May until the end of September. Your faithful dogs will enjoy Summerleaze Beach although need to wear a lead from mid May until the end of September during peak hours.
