Southwold Beach

This Blue Flag awarded beach is fringed with sand dunes and offers all three delightful classic English seaside features; colourful beach huts, a pristine pier and a towering lighthouse. Kids have access to loads of entertainment once they've had their fill of safe swimming, fishing, crabbing and rock pooling.

Families will be impressed with the beach facilities that range from toilets, a lost child centre, lifeguards and first aid services in summer, as well as the cafes and shops. Disabled facilities include toilets, parking and wheelchair access. Dogs have restricted access to the beach between May and September but there is a beach north and south of here that both allow dogs all year round.
