This award winning Polzeath Beach attracts its fair share of surfers thanks to consistent long slow breaking waves. It’s not unusual to see the odd seal or dolphin competing for the best waves making this unique beach in North Cornwall great for spectators as well. The beach is located in Hayle Bay and was awarded a Blue Flag in 2011.
There are restaurants and cafes near the beach, plenty of parking including disabled access, toilets and lifeguards are on duty during the peak summer season. There is a seasonal ban on dogs between Easter and the end of September and there is a range of shops including surf hire nearby plus an exciting range of luxury beach houses for rent.
