Paignton Sands is a well organised family beach in Paignton in South Devon with perfectly flat sand and a beautiful long classic pier at its centre. There are great facilities including toilets, bars, cafes, ice cream parlours, gift shops and parking. It is safe and easy to entertain kids on this beach thanks to safe shallows, pedal boats and patrolling lifeguards.
Along the length of the beach there is more entertainment and activities with an age-sensitive kids parkland, a pier, beachside amusements and a fun fair. There are also full disabled facilities including toilets, parking and access to the beach. Dog bans operate between May and September.
