Margate Sands

Margate Sands, sometimes known as The Bay is a beautiful english resort beach in Margate with pristine sands and all the props that you'd expect from a well managed family seaside destination. There is also a bathing pool, kids play area, deckchair and sun lounger hire, promenade amusements and donkey rides.

The beach has good facilities with a few beach cafes, fish and chip shops, toilets, showers, parking and disabled facilities with beach access. Bathing is safe and there is a lifeguard service in the summer. Dogs are not allowed on the main beach area during high season but there is an exercise area allocated to them.
