Kynance Cove

Kynance Cove is a stunning sand and rock beach near Port Navas on the Lizard Peninsula. It can be reached from steep steps that feel worth the descent and climb once you clap your eyes on the brilliant turquoise water and white sand. It has islands, caves, rock pools and serpentine rock stacks to discover and it is great for swimming and surfing.

The National Trust owns this beach as well as the large car park above the cove. The Trust has been responsible for improving bathing water quality and protecting this spectacular beach environment. There are toilets and a fantastic cafe-restaurant near the cove serving delicious local delicacies. Dogs are banned from Easter to October.
