Durdle Door Beach

Durdle Door Beach is a beautiful sand and shingle beach on the Dorset coast not far from Dorchester, with crystal clear aquamarine waters and an iconic rock arch. The crystal waters attract swimmers and snorkelers but the sand shelves abruptly and there are no lifeguards, so watch children closely.

Durdle Door has no permanent facilities, but there is a car park above the cliff, public toilets at the nearby holiday park, and in the summer there is a kiosk serving ice creams and refreshments on the path leading to the beach. Dogs are welcome all year round.
